Both award-winning wines are produced from grapes from our oldest Sangiovese and Montepulciano vineyard which was planted by our grandparents Livio and Filomena 58 years ago and organic managed for over 15 years; these awards are a welcome recognition for our work which aims to minimize the impact on the vineyards and therefore on the environment, thus promoting biodiversity, and the enhancement of old clones of native vines that would otherwise be destined to disappear.
